SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYST ATLANTA, GA

CARE is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Analyst. S/he will report to the Manager of Analytics and Reporting in the Individual Fundraising and Marketing (IF&M) Business Operations division. The Sr. Technical Analyst works closely with members of the business groups within IF&M to determine the client’s business needs. The position entails a combination of business and data analysis and query/report development. This individual will work closely with peers to support data extracts for online and offline segmentation strategies. S/he will interact with internal and external clients which require effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling activities related to the production of data selects for fundraising, communication, and advocacy;
• Develop reports and perform analysis for fundraising, communication, and advocacy;
• Act as a liaison between Operations, Finance and IF&M business areas; Prepare Information Services requests, track progress and disseminate information to appropriate parties and ensure accuracy of the data and timely response;
• Provide thought leadership on constituent data structures and through collaboration. Develop and maintain enterprise constituent data architecture, within the context of CARE wide enterprise architecture;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree;
• Relational database training (ORACLE or SQL);
• 1-3 years Crystal Reports experience;
• 1-3 years database experience ;
• Oracle or SQL database experience;
• Microsoft Office – Word, Access, Excel;
• 1-3 years relational database (Oracle or SQL);
• Excellent Analytical and quantitative skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Microsoft Office – Word, Access, Excel.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other computer-related curriculum;
• Business Analyst Training;
• Project Management Training;
• Non-Profit database experience;
• Non-Profit direct marketing experience;
• SAS experience;
• Statistical Analysis and Business Modeling;
• Knowledge of Web-based CRM applications ;
• Previous experience and familiarity with CRM software.
