Service Development Officer in Uganda

Job Title: Service Development Officer
Reports to: Service Development Specialist
Job role: To conduct basic research and communication towards facilitation of research and adaption of technological advancements.

Key Result Areas

a. Conduct literature reviews' searches, field and other background research;

b. Manage and respond to project related correspondences with direction from the Specialist;

c. Prepare, maintain, and update public information materials;

d. Prepare progress reports for the specialist; and

e. Summarize project results and contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications.


Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering or related science field

Experience and Knowledge

• At least two (2) years of demonstrated technical experience working in the ICT sector;
• Strong research and information processing and management capabilities;
• Team player and self driven;
• Proficiency in the use of office document processing tools (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets and databases);
• Good communication skills; and
• Personal interest in technological development in the industry.
