You will be central to our exciting plans for the future.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will assume overall responsibility for the delivery of high availability real-time services to users, and end-to-end system scheduling, co-ordination and operations. This will involve planning and optimising the exploitation of EUMETSAT’s technical infrastructure, managing the operation of our network of Ground Stations and the interface with partner agencies.

Qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline, you will bring extensive professional experience of real-time services and exploitation of software intensive operational systems. As a prerequisite, you will need to demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems, manage people and processes, and deliver measurable results against targets and deadlines. Finally, you should be fully fluent in English.
