SOLUTIONS DIRECTOR - Central London
12 Month contract leading to a Permanent role
Comp Salary or Day Rate £500.00 - Generous company benefits, Plus company car
Key responsibilities
Development of the operational and transformation solution for the transferring criminal fines organisation
Leadership of the implementation programme when successful
Ownership of the functional relationships with partner organisations, including technology, payment process, analytics and bailiffs Leadership of the solutions project team, tasking its members and providing them with clearly defined and measurable objectives
Key deliverables
Creation of a bid-winning solution that delivers maximum operational improvement and lowest delivery cost
Delivery of the bid solution within time and budget
Become recognised as the subject matter expert on the fines outsourcing solution, able to present it in a compelling, comprehensive yet easily understood manner to all relevant parties internally and externally
Analysis of the HM Courts & Tribunals Service requirement, uncovering and researching a thorough understanding of the drivers, motivators and objectives behind the contract.
Definition and implementation of appropriate governance frameworks for solution development
Development of relationships with key stakeholders within HMCTS and MoJ.
Development of working relationships with the Care and Justice Managing Directors, business development functions and other key stakeholders within G4S Care & Justice Services, working with them on joint initiatives and drawing upon their knowledge, insight and capability as appropriate.
Production of forecasting, budgeting and other forms of reporting to senior management as required.
Build capability within G4S Care and Justice Services to manage land deliver large scale business change programmes and develop and embed best practice business processes and governance frameworks

Desired Skills & Experience
Candidate requirements and essential experience:-
- Proven track record in owning, developing and delivering complex, multi-service BPO transformation solutions in the public sector is essential for this role
- Likely background will be major white collar BPO services company, management consultancy, or IT services provider
- Commercially focused, creative, confident, self-driven and inventive, able to originate complex commercial solutions and to drive strategic planning. Patient and tenacious when required.
- Excellent communications skills – the ability to listen and to communicate complex commercial solutions confidently yet sensitively to both internal and external parties with equal skill.
- Outstanding leadership and people management, organisational, collaborative, inspirational, analytical, influencing and motivational skills.
- High levels of
personal initiative, motivation, credibility and integrity, able to
secure buy-in from others to new ideas and concepts.
