Pro-poor market development manager

Christian Aid believes that the private sector has a critical part to play in ending the scandal of poverty. Initiatives working at a whole market system level are a key mechanism for Christian Aid to realise our vision of a private sector that is organised in a way that enables poor women and men to seize opportunities to strengthen their voice and ownership, and to develop their assets and capabilities.
You’ll champion the development of pro-poor market development initiatives at scale across Christian Aid, leading multi-country projects and helping to build a community of practice.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you’ll have experience of working overseas in a development and/or commercial context, with a focus on market development that delivers systemic change. You’ll be able to demonstrate highly developed communication skills and an ability to craft and deliver compelling messages to a range of internal and external audiences.
