DIESEL MECHANIC
An N2 and apprenticeship trade certificate, at least 2 years’ experience in the trade and mechanised mining and additional training experience in hydraulic systems and troubleshooting will set candidates apart.

Duties and responsibilities include: • Ensuring that mechanical equipment in the Trackless Mining Department is maintained in a highly effective and efficient state in accordance with company’s procedures for operations • Ensuring health, safety and security of self and fellow artisans by applying safety and security standards and procedures in the execution of maintenance activities • Ensuring that the condition monitoring of equipment, scheduled and planned maintenance are conducted timeously and effectively • Promoting and developing teamwork to become an effective team member.
