Surgeon for a programme in Angola
Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first NGO in the healthcare area officially recognised in Italy.
Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, actually CUAMM is working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.

> Requirements:
- Citizenship of a State of the European Union (requirement essential for administrative issues)
- University Degree in Medicine and Surgery with further specialisation in Surgery
- Long-lasting experience in general surgery and obstetric surgery
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Portuguese
- Previous experience in Developing Countries
- To ensure and supervise surgical and obstetric activities in Chiulo Hospital, ensuring emergency general surgery and emergency and elective obstetric surgery services
- To supervise the management of the hospital departments for surgical inpatients
- To contribute to the staff training on-the-job
- To collaborate and supervise data collection, analysis and reporting, with a special focus on obstetric and surgical activities
