Nile Breweries Limited is a leading beverage company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller – the second largest brewing group in the world. It seeks to recruit highly motivated, results oriented and dynamic professionals for the following positions for its up-coming operations in Mbarara District. Technical Brewer (x2) Key Responsibilities: Provide brewing technical expertise Complete detailed project plans and technical reports for brewery projects, trail brews Operate brewing plant and equipment Design and execute experiments Mentor and train shift staff Manage the franchise brands

Requirement: BSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology or equivalent. Higher Diploma in Brewing (IBD). Technical brewing traineeship completion is an added advantage. Solid understanding of brewing process and operational (control systems) aspects. Ability to design experiments. Exposure in quality control laboratory
