Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer will oversee timberland investments in South Australia.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in forestry, passion for the industry, and a commitment to being an environmental steward. The CEO will have strong managerial skills, experience with working in a Board environment, and ability tomonitor, refine and execute on the strategic plan of the Company. This position will work with appropriate parties to ensure strategic initiatives support the company’s position as a responsible and sustainable operator. A Bachelor’s degree is required (business, finance, forestry, forest products, engineering or related field) plus 10 years’ related experience in accounting, finance, or forest products sector. Additional consideration will be made for an advanced degree, however, it is not required. We’re also looking for deep experience and understanding of the Australian community. Additional valued experience will include at least five years within the TIMO industry in a senior or leadership role as well as robust expertise in leading the development and execution of key strategic initiatives.
The role will cover the establishment of new business relationships, working with FSA, and growing the business both domestically and internationally.
The CEO will have the opportunity to work with a pre-eminent TIMO firm based in Portland and work with international investors at a Board level.
