The Chief Operations Officer will work closely with the CEO in the development of ongoing business plans for timberland investments in South Australia. Responsibilities include oversight of the general contractor and monitoring performance of the management agreement. This position requires a four year degree (forestry, forest products, engineering or related business degree) plus 10 years’ experience with direct management of a large forest estate within the industry which demonstrates extensive forest operations expertise and deep contacts within the industry. Also of importance will be a thorough understanding of all cost and revenue aspects of a forest estate as well as the demonstrated ability to establish and leverage relationships with key stakeholders.
