Job description

  • The program can include training in the following areas:
  • Modification and maintenance:
  • Maintenance, planning, engineering, construction and installation of piping, steel structures and electrical systems
  • Operations:
  • Oil and gas production, offshore installation maintenance, design/construction/commissioning of marine and production systems (including piping, steel structures, electrical, automation, static and rotating mechanical equipment)
  • Drilling and well:
  • Planning of drilling and completion operations, preparation of programs, procedures, risk assessments and equipment procurement in the pre-operational phase
  • Perform operational support during the execution phase
  • Perform required reporting in the post-operation phase
  • Exploration:
  • Seismic interpretation, seismic attribute analysis, prospect mapping and assessment, well log interpretation, play mapping and assessment

Qualifications

  • Concluding Bachelor or Master degree at UFRJ, from March 2012 to March 2013, in one of the following areas:
  • Geology
  • Geophysics
  • Engineering (petroleum, drilling, marine, mechanical, electrical or electronic)
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) is required
  • Due to local requirements only Brazilian nationals are eligible for this position
