Summary
The Associate Director, Telemarketing is responsible for strategically developing and managing the outbound telemarketing campaigns that meet Save the Children’s goals.  The Associate Director will coordinate and execute on outbound communications and fundraising campaigns to increase retention and engagement to sponsors/donors.; to upgrade donors giving value to maximize the long term and life time value to the Agency.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
•Working with the Director and Sr. Director, develop outbound telemarketing strategies to help continue the growth and success of the retention of existing sponsors & donors and support the agency’s multi-channel integrated campaigns.
Managing Campaigns 
•Responsible for the day-to-day development and implementation of the outbound telemarketing campaigns to upgrade donors to sustainers, raising undesignated revenue by converting 1X donors to multi-donors, generate new donors through volunteer recruitment and advocacy calling, upgrade support from the mid-range donors with a dedicated program and delinquency calling to sponsors & recurring donors.
•Management of the telemarketing vendor(s) on the execution of all aspects of the various programs
•Lead campaign meetings including project kick-off, creative and project status
•Evaluate results, analyze strategy effectiveness, and modify strategies based on results
•Responsible for ensuring communication/reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
•Work with telemarketing vendor to establish rigorous test/control protocols and metrics for each campaign
Program Analysis and Evaluation
•Monitor campaign performance and report on results
•Provide ROI & LTV analysis for each campaign
Budget
•Responsible for managing telemarketing campaign budgets
•Develop proposed budgets for additional calling efforts as required
•Work with internal teams to monitor and track spending
•Support Director, Sr. Director and AVP on other projects as needed
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing or degree in related field required
•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in telemarketing, direct response fundraising, marketing and/or working in a similar capacity with emphasis on analytical skills required to drive campaign performance.
•Proven experience in project management skills
•Demonstrated ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
•Proven written and verbal communication skills
•Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
•Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail
•Independent problem-solver and decision-maker
•Strong organizational, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
•Advanced skills in Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
