Vocational motor vehicle mechanics advisor, Tanzania


You’ll use your degree and/or Advanced Diploma in Vocational Training or QTS certification to train and support both tutors and staff. Using your experience of working in the industry and vocational training you will provide particular expertise and training on assembling car engines (including caterpillar or other heavy equipment) in line with specifications and quality metrics and assembling, repairing and maintaining engine sub-components. You’ll also know about fitting, aligning, calibrating, adjusting and installing parts, mechanisms and components to meet vehicle operating requirements and conducting experimental tests on models and supervising the operation and maintenance of the equipment.You’ll also be asked to build the capacity of staff on delivering motor vehicle mechanics courses. You will also participate in planning, design and administration of continuing education courses, including conducting research, needs assessments and consultancy projects where needed.
