Our people at the new Charles Perkins Centre are using the University’s internationally recognised academic credentials to ease the global burden of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.  Through a unique collaboration of academics we are building a new understanding of these metabolic conditions, to improve prevention, treatment and health outcomes in Australia and worldwide.
The centre is seeking outstanding researchers to lead our work.
OUR PEOPLE
Under the direction of Professor Stephen Simpson the centre brings together world-class academics from agriculture to architecture, business to biomedical sciences, physics to psychology.
OUR FACILITIES
To support the centre’s academic program, the University of Sydney is investing $385 million to build a state-of-the-art research and education hub.  It is designed to accommodate 950 researchers and 1455 undergraduate students.
