About the job:
CSIR Shared Services unit has a vacancy for an Intern: Psychometrist who will assist with coordinating and conducting all assessments and the full assessment function of the CSIR Assessment Centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer all assessments conducted by the CSIR Assessment Centre.
- Score and interpret assessment results.
- Integrate results and compile comprehensive reports.
- Provide feedback to clients and candidates.
- Invoice procedures for all assessments done.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- An Honours degree in psychology/industrial psychology.
- Written and passed Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) board exam for Psychometrists (written proof required from HPCSA).
- Registration with HPCSA as a Psychometrist: Independent Practice (proof of payment required if application is still in progress)
- Cognitive Process Profile (CPP) training and accreditation.
- Learning Potential Computerised Adaptive Test (LPCAT) training and accreditation.
- Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i) training and accreditation.
- Saville Wave training and accreditation (personality measures)
- Value Orientations (VO) training and accreditation.
- No formal work experience is required. Exposure to the following will be beneficial:
- Administration of assessments in a corporate environment;
- Writing integrative reports for selection and career development; and
- Practice management and administration, in a corporate/business environment.
- Ability assessments.
