Road Maintenance Engineer to live in outer islands of Vanuatu

We are seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Road Maintenance Engineer to live and work in Vanuatu.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with public works department staff to manage rural road maintenance works.

Prospective candidates must have the following experience and qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or related discipline;
• Substantial experience working in the civil engineering industry, managing roads maintenance and rehabilitation;
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide mentoring to public works staff;
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment;
• And an understanding of cross-cutting development issues such as gender equality, anti-corruption, HIV/AIDS and social inclusion.
