PROJECT COORDINATOR

Broadband Infraco is a State-led intervention to rapidly normalise telecoms market efficiency by commoditising only those parts of infrastructure that impede private sector development and innovation in telecoms service and content offerings. With this ground-breaking development comes the need to find enthusiastic South Africans with appropriate skills, qualifications and experience to form part of this initiative.

PROJECT COORDINATOR
Key outputs: Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will provide support in project planning, project engineering and field work coordination. Responsibilities include project contract and purchase order management, formulation of a feasible project contract management framework, and project reporting and governance.

Qualifications and experience: CVs should reflect a T3/S4 or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years’ project contract coordination and Commercial Law experience, or a procurement background. Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an added advantage. An understanding of procurement and contract management processes is required. The incumbent must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to inform and persuade both verbally and in writing.
