Vedanta Resources Senior Manager: Business Development

Senior Manager: Business Development

The successful candidate will project manage transactions and other company initiatives, determine the viability of  transactions/initiatives through the gathering, analysis and modelling of data and compile reports, memos, presentations as required, making recommendations to the GM. In addition, he/she will support the GM by conducting in-depth research and analysis from a technical perspective to assist with driving mergers and acquisitions in Sub-Saharan Africa and executing deals. This role supervises and reviews the work of external consultants, junior analysts and any other parties as required. 

Minimum requirements: • A CA(SA)/BCom (Hons) Finance/BSc (Hons) with MBA or similar • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience (M&A or similar transaction advisory environment) • Experience in the natural resources sector is a plus.
