Kimberley Underground Mines JV

Kimberley Underground Mines JV is situated in the town of Kimberley in the Northern Cape. The Mine consists of 3 conventional slushier drift block cave mines.

Machine Doctor

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants who will be required to repair Jackhammer Machines/Stoppers for the mine.

Tasks and responsibilities: • Repair jackhammers • Repair stopers’ air legs and pipes • Liaise with the Shift Boss on machines to be repaired • Liaise with the Shift Boss on machines repaired • Take stock of machines/stoper parts • Liaise with the Shift Boss on
parts required.

Minimum requirements: • Grade 10 • 2 years’ related experience.

Other skills/competencies: • Operating of the jackhammer • First aid training • Material handling.
