The Treasury Client Solutions Department provides IFC’s clients with innovative forms of local currency financing with a focus on the development of domestic debt markets to help increase the capacity for long-term local currency investment. The group has global responsibility for derivative transactions, structured debt, and IFC's local currency bond issuances. It is involved in both domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions, as well as bilateral structured financings with clients.
Duties and Accountabilities:
The IFC is conducting a search for an individual to join the Treasury Client Solutions Department in the capacity of Associate Financial Officer starting immediately. The position would be located in Moscow. His/her primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Developing and running financial models to assist with the structuring and pricing of transactions;

• Assisting in managing regulatory relationships in the region

• Gathering, organizing, and analyzing market data;

• Assist in marketing local currency products and capabilities to regional clients, regional regulatory agencies, and regional banks ;

• Marketing and structuring derivative based local currency transactions and structured finance products such as partial or full guarantees, risk sharing facilities etc.;

• Assisting in preparation of documentation associated with IFC’s bond issuances and investment projects ;
Selection Criteria:
1. Master’s or equivalent degree and 3-5 years finance experience, preferably in fixed income and/or structured finance within an investment bank, rating agency, or other capital markets-related entity. For internal applicants, familiarity and experience with IFC investment cycle and Treasury products is a plus;

2. Advanced data analysis and database management skills and ability to conduct research from diverse sources of information including Bloomberg and Reuters;

3. Strong quantitative/mathematical/modeling skills, ideally gained within a transactional environment;

4. Advanced knowledge of Excel and other statistical software packages is desirable;

5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize under time pressure;

6. Exhibits attention to detail, resourcefulness, and strong oral and written communication skills;

7. Ability to travel frequently on short notice;

8. Highly motivated, self-starter with proven capacity for teamwork, and willingness to work long hours when needed;

9. Fluency in English and preferably proficiency in other languages; and

10. Enthusiasm for development of domestic debt markets.
