Job description

  • Primary contact for Statoil’s owner relations for revenue-related calls
  • Receive all telephone calls and monitor emails and written correspondence from interest owners in relation to oil and gas interests, ownership and payments
  • Facilitate discussion and questions with interest owners in order to determine nature of issue and provide resolution or forward for further handling
  • Investigate, respond and/or forward calls, emails and correspondence to the appropriate person
  • Record owner complaint/inquiry and other data in access database
  • Confirm and maintain royalty ownership information with onshore land department
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate updates of ownership information in SAP/PRA with onshore land department
  • Follow up all inquiries to ensure all are resolved in a timely manner and report all issues
  • Perform other duties as prescribed by leader

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • Three + years experience in related customer service/owner relations environment
  • Two + years of experience in upstream onshore oil and gas activities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and access skills
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to compose effective and clear correspondence, communicate effectively and clearly via telephone and email
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify and solve problems and strong bias towards actions and not letting open problems/issues remain unresolved
  • Excellent customer service commitment to follow up
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, high volume, growth environment and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to bring questions and issues of owners/callers to a resolution while striving to maintain a positive rapport with stakeholders
  • A welcoming and pleasant telephone manner, excellent phone etiquette and presence is a must
  • SAP production revenue account (PRA) experience is a plus
