Regular gifts assistant


This is a vital supporter-facing role, providing an excellent level of service to Christian Aid’s supporters. The post-holder will play a key role in ensuring that all communications with supporters are of the highest possible standard, that enquiries are handled efficiently and promptly, and that Christian Aid’s database accurately reflects the details and wishes of our supporters.
The Regular Gifts Unit ensures that Christian Aid's Regular Gifts income is recorded accurately and promptly on the supporter database to aid the organisation in its planning and reporting requirements. It is also responsible for providing an excellent level of supporter service to Christian Aid’s donors. You will be responsible for processing regular gifts like Direct Debit, Standing Order, Payroll etc. and updating contact details onto the supporter database. Other duties will include answering phone queries from supporters of a general nature or relating to donations received, along with other admin duties assigned by your line manager.
Educated to GCSE, A level standard or equivalent you will have a background in providing excellent customer/supporter service, and preferably experience in Regular Gift processes and methods. You will also have considerable experience using a customer or supporter database system.
