CIMMYT CCTV ROOM OPERATORS

We are seeking two dynamic, self-motivated, and service-orientated professionals for the position of CCTV Room Operators in the Corporate Services Program.

Positions will be based at CIMMYT’s Main Campus (located 45 km northeast of Mexico City, Mexico).

Specific responsibilities of this position will include:

• Monitor CCTV system in CIMMYT.
• Operate security alarms.
• Provide basic technical support as required to CC TV and security/fire alarms.
• Report as required all incidences and situations that arise related to CCTV and Security Alarms.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisor and relevant areas.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualification, skills and attitudes:

• Tertiary studies (Preparatoria). Technical grade in systems will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in CCTV monitoring with knowledge of CCTV access via Internet and telephone lines.
• Experience and basic knowledge of computer networks and telecommunications.
• Experience in security.  Experience in crisis and emergency management.  Working knowledge of English.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good level of attention to detail and customer orientation.
• Good level of discretion and confidentiality, and ability to work in an organized manner.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to work with different nationalities, under pressure and as a member of diverse work team
