consultant to facilitate the establishment of two new innovation laboratories (labs) in Central and South America


UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to facilitate the establishment of two new innovation laboratories (labs) in Central and South America.

     Purpose:
            Please see Terms of Reference
     Qualification:
·         A minimum of 3 years project coordination experience
·         Ability to coordinate communities and build volunteer groups around projects with constrained resources
·         Understanding and familiarity with incubators, labs, or other mechanisms of physical collaboration around innovation- preferably technical spaces that engage girls and women
·         Proven ability to work as a part of a small or a big team including responding to ad hoc requests outside the job description
·         Excellent interpersonal and representational skills
·         Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish
·         Undergraduate academic degree

      Experience in:
      •     Management of technology projects and teams
      •     Entrepreneurial engagements with various partners and stakeholders
      •     Developing clear, brief and readable communications materials around complex  projects
