INTERN, US-INDIA POLICY STUDIES 2013

About CSIS, our internships, and the Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies:
At a time of new global opportunities and challenges, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)provides strategic insights and policy solutions to decision makers in government, international institutions, the private sector, and civil society. A bipartisan, nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, DC, CSIS conducts research and analysis and develops policy initiatives that look into the future and anticipate change.
CSIS is seeking candidates for a full-time spring internship (January - June) with the Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies.  We are currently accepting applications from highly-qualified undergraduates, advanced degree students, and recent graduates who seek practical experience in international policy and strategic analysis.
The Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies, established in January 2011, aims to unlock the full potential of the US-India relationship for the twenty-first century. The Chair serves as an independent platform in Washington to assess major policies and strategic issues in South Asia, and initiate and pursue policy changes to strengthen US-India ties. Ambassador Karl F. Inderfurth serves as the inaugural Wadhwani Chair holder in US-India Policy Studies at CSIS.
The most qualified candidates will be contacted by the program to arrange an interview. Candidates outside the DC-metro area must be willing and able to relocate.  The position is to be filled immediately upon final selection of a qualified candidate.
