Experience Required

• Between 5 to 8 years in Quantity Surveying/Cost estimating in highway projects.
• CESMM3 knowledge mandatory.

Skills

• Appropriate qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Have demonstrated technical competence on major highway projects.
• Have demonstrated self-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• The Project Cost Estimating Engineer shall be responsible to the Discipline Leader for delivery of technical outputs in accordance with the Project requirements.
• Liaison with the Discipline Leader, Client Technical team and other consultants as part of the design management task.
• Undertake checking of BoQ's submitted by project consultants and reporting on findings, including liaison/feedback.
• Participation in review of designs in terms of value engineering, design review and audit checks.
