Project Financial Administrator (Newcastle). Limited tenure contract for approx. 7 months

An opportunity exists for a Project Financial Administrator to join our Newcastle office.  In this position you will provide project support services to Project Leaders to enable improved project management and financial tracking.  This is a limited tenure contract for approximately 7 months.
Your responsibilities will include, and are not limited to:
- Creating new clients in the database
- Creating, completing, reviewing and maintaining projects in the database
- Assist with Debt follow-up and recovery
- Project financial monitoring
- Transaction maintenance including releasing timesheets, out of the office timesheets etc
- Ensuring contractual requirements related to financial control of projects are adhered to
- Project administration
- General administration
- Relief reception
To be successful in this position you will have a good understanding of project set up and maintenance, billing, revenue, forecasting, collections, inquiries and reports.  You will have strong communication skills and have the ability to solve problems and produce work with a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines.  A professional qualification in a financial related industry and/or relevant work experience is highly preferred.
