The Wikirate project is designed to encourage responsible corporate behaviour by fostering constructive feedback loops between companies and their stakeholders. It's like a Wikipedia for corporate responsibility, but with new, powerful ways for communities to interact with more structured data. This is a fantastic opportunity to create, innovate, and make an impact to better the world.

For that reason we are now looking for a highly accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis for, initially, a 3 year period. The position would be formally placed within The Psychometrics Centre in Department of Psychology. You will be part of a dispersed team located in the UK, US, Germany, Italy and Greece. All efforts are funded through a 3-year grant by the European Commission.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in programming online applications. While Ruby and Ruby On Rails is the preferred development environment, we also welcome candidates coming from other programming backgrounds provided that they are passionate about programming and learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of agile development methodologies, be self-motivated and have a proven ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines. Passion for work and a desire to constantly improve skills are essential.
