The Account Executive will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.
In addition, you will:

  • Assist in the leadership of the team for the customer in all aspects of account growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication 
  • Define entitlement & identify areas to penetrate and grow profitability 
  • Interface directly with the marketing organization to drive high value solutions leveraging the GE portfolio 
  • Serve as a conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer 
  • Build customer relationships and communication at all levels 
  • Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives 
  • Structure, price, negotiate and close deals 
  • Actively participate in community events with the customer 
  • Utilize Six Sigma tools & methodologies to drive improvements in key processes for the customer
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 additional years of experience in a product or customer support position) 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct sales, account, or team leadership
