Job Purpose
As a HR Business Intelligence Analyst, you will establish and maintain efficient Business Intelligence research and systems support, overseeing the data collection analysis and reporting of management information for the Talent Acquisition Team. 
 
You will drive various research and analysis on a regular basis with an objective of identifying trends, determining underlying factors, forecasting performance of KPIs and informing business decision making.
Responsibilities
  • Engage with Manager HR Business Intelligence Delivery in deriving Business Information (BI) requirements from HR Business intelligence strategies and propose solution options.
  • Drive research and analysis, regarding key analytics agreed in the delivery plan.
  • Gather industry standards on BI, KPIs and best practices.
  • Conduct benchmarking activities with other organizations within and outside the industry.
  • Prepare BI recommendations and presentations to be delivered to the HR Leadership Team (HRLT).
  • Integrate various data analysis and reporting activities of the team into a consolidated, streamlined and repeatable reporting mechanism.
  • Design and manage a proper process of archiving and backups including data security and documentation of the process involved in crucial analysis.
  • Design and build HR dashboard for HRLT on key performance indicators of HR.
  • Develop HR reports, Participate in preparing HR BRM packs, Exec Council/Tawteen reports etc.
  • Design and manage the operational delivery plan of all key deliverables of HR BI plan.
  • Establish and manage an efficient Business Intelligence support for the HR business and oversee the data collection analysis and management reporting.
  • Engage with HR CoEs and BP team to identify new reporting requirements in operational and tactical areas of HR and propose solutions for the same.
  • Manage BI projects arising from HR BI Plan as well as from regular engagement with the Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence and BP team.
  • Report the progress of the project to HR Manager BI and identify risks and mitigation plan. Engage with key business users in implementing the project and ensure that the deliverables are operationalized.
  • Supervise the development and implementation of online reporting solutions by providing guidance and requirements to the HR Systems team, conducting reviews and system testing.
  • Evaluate existing BI and operational reports from usability, readability and performance point of view and provide recommendations of improvement.
  • Address ad hoc analytics requirements arising from within and outside HR. Analyze the ad hoc requests on regular basis and determine patterns and common requirements to be converted into scheduled reports or online reporting functions
Requirements
  • A degree in Data Analysis or Business Administration or a recognized equivalent.
  • Relevant corporate experience with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a business Intelligence & analysis role involving extensive and detailed analytical reporting.
  • Prior BI & reporting experience in a corporate environment would be preferable.
  • The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive expertise of commonly used analytical and reporting tools such as MS Excel, MS Access along with a knowledge of best practices in HR KPIs and reporting.
  • Other skills that the successful applicant will posses are are; MS Office (all packages), MS Visio, MS Projects Presentation Skills, Reporting Skills,
  • Basic Oracle database knowledge and ability to run simple SQL scripts will be beneficial
