Job Description
To support the ongoing commercial viability of the business by contributing to effective annual business plans, the management of costs, revenue and suppliers and maximise Etihad’s return from its business relationships with Retail Agents within a portfolio across New South Wales.
Responsibilities
  • Meet & exceed revenue & profitability targets within portfolio, maximizing sector & network revenue & yield through the implementation of effective sales & marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with relevant travel trade within portfolio, to ensure all sales distribution channels are fully exploited to Etihad’s benefit.
  • Implement the national business plans with clients in portfolio, as directed by the state manager, ensuring a coordinated and structured approach to call patterns and areas of focus that deliver the highest revenue potential.
  • Ensure all relevant actions and required activities are completed and recorded in Salesforce.com in accordance with The Etihad Way.
  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements and KPIs’.
  • Ensure Etihad Airways is well-represented and positioned as a professional, high quality and unique airline with the highest levels of customer service in all activities within portfolio.
  • Monitor, collate and report market intelligence and competitor activity to ensure Etihad anticipates and/or responds to trends, issues or threats to maximize opportunities and minimize adverse impact on sales.
  • Represent the airline professionally in accordance with the Etihad Airways Code of Business Conduct, meet all Etihad reporting, policy & procedural requirements and comply with all legal, governmental and regulatory requirements within our region.
RequirementsEducated to degree level or equivalent
The IndividualExperience:
 
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of airline or travel industry experience gained over a period of not less than 5 years with a minimum of 2 years in a sales role. Applicants must have a proven track of success in negotiating, implementing and managing preferred agency agreements where applicable.

  • Demonstrable PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
