Job purpose and key deliverablesBeing responsible for driving the execution of the Trade Marketing & Distribution objectives, by effectively leading branch sales team through the most effective and efficient utilisation of the branch Field Force resources.




  • Staffs: Sales Supervisors, Sales Reps, Branch Admin, Warehouse Admin, TM Rep, Distributors (Total: 30 ~ 50 staffs) 
  • Finance 


    • Volume Budget Sales Value : 100 Billion KRW 
    • Marketing budget : 0.5 Billion KRW
Key Accountabilities

  1. Operations/ Professional/ Business

    • Delivery of sales targets : sales volume & value, visibility Implement a trade coverage plan for the branch. 
    • Ensure product availability is maximized in line with distribution guidelines and market needs
  2. Management


    • Make sure demand forecast is accurately reflected throughout planning process. 
    • Develop branch ad-hoc trade programs to quickly respond to market dynamics. 
    • Implement effective cycle programmes in the field 
    • Ensure that POSM & warehouse inventory is managed effectively and efficiently at the optimum level. 
    • Ensure execution of branch trade budget is supervised and controlled in effective and efficient way. 
    • Ensure that the branch operations comply with the company policy & guidelines.
  3. Leadership


    • Ensure talents are identified and developed within the branch for future leadership in the company. 
    • Encourage winning culture within the branch. 
    • Ensure sales reps and supervisors understand company vision and strategy via regular communication.
  4. Relationship


    • Provide branch performance index to Head Office (Brand, Sales, Business development and SP&I team) i.e. market information & market intelligence including competitors activity to take prompt actions dealing with any changes that could affect the company objectives 
    • Ensure maintaining 1 st class business relationships through regular face to face meeting with key customers. 
    • Manage and control designated distributors to ensure the growth of volume, distribution and brand visibility
  5. Innovation 


    • Be a leader in driving and managing changes/ innovations by setting a personal example. 
    • Ensure the team members clearly understand and committed to “changes/innovation” culture.
Essential requirements1. Context
  Branch Manager is responsible for overall operation and performance of sales forces including Sales Representatives, Sales Supervisor & supporting staffs ( Branch Admin & Warehouse Admin ). Branch is the core organization unit within TM&D organization which drives area based TM&D programs & activities. There are total 19 branch offices nationwide in Korea.  

2. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years in Sales experience preferably in FMCG industry 
  • Have an understanding of direct sales and distribution & logistics 
  • In-depth understanding of field sales operations 
  • Knowledge in developing / implementing trade programs 
  • Understanding of BAT’s corporate strategy 
  • Strong leadership with the ability to operate efficiently as a ‘Manager Others’ passage. 
  • Communication / Interpersonal skills: Communicates clearly, persuasively and is successful in influencing others. 
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal & external stakeholders 
  • Negotiating skills and strong drive for results. 
  • Analytical skills.

  • Branch Sales KPIs (Volume, Market share, Distribution, OOS) delivered 
  • Availability/distribution targets/OOS/Visibility/Quality(RQI) 
  • Timely implementation of trade & brand activities 
  • Customer satisfaction levels (CSM)

  • Precise and clear communication skills (Korean), Conversational English
