REGULATORY AFFAIRS MANAGER

Regulatory Affairs Manager to provide support to the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director in the fields of product safety, monitoring of regulations such as REACH, CLP, Biocidal Products (BPR) etc. Although the department is small, it regularly works closely with the other departments (Technical, Marketing and Communications and Public Affairs/Sustainability) and provides support to all the relevant committees and working groups.
The manager will provide support to the department and to the members involved in these committees and working groups – preparing and giving presentations, monitoring, analysing of and reporting on relevant scientific and regulatory developments, collection and presentation of scientific information and data, complete organisation of meetings and workshops, taking minutes, answering external requests, organising internal activities with other departments and assistance in the association’s events, etc. Some travelling will be required to participate in the organisation’s own workshops and events abroad, as well as in external meetings, conferences, EU stakeholders meetings, workshops etc.
This is a job with responsibility, autonomy and scope.
Excellent spoken and written English with a very good knowledge of at least one other European language. Should have at least 2-3 years experience in an association environment, the EU institutions, a law firm or an organisation with a similar regulatory scope. Must be self-motivated, stress-resistant, professional, customer-focused, organised and meticulous with good communication skills and a sociable, open personality.
