Who we are looking for
Accounting Services is part of Corporate Compliance Services, a group that offers both tax and accounting outsourced services to clients.
Corporate Compliance Services (CCS) provides a range of outsourcing, insourcing and advisory services concentrating on helping companies remain compliant in the areas of corporate taxes, indirect taxes and accounting. CCS works with a range of companies across the UK, including large multinationals, FTSE 100, national, regional and start up companies.
We offer four key services to our clients:
- Accounting Services
- Corporate Tax
- Indirect Tax
- Compliance Technologies
Accounting Services provides high quality relationship based accounting services to multi-national companies, UK mid-tier and Investment entities. Market focus is primarily non- audit client/channel 2. Annual net revenues are £5m plus, with one Partner.
The business unit offers a wide breadth of accounting services which fall into four distinct categories:
- Production of UK and IFRS financial statements
- Accounting Projects/Secondments
- A full accounting & tax back office service
- Accounting compliance advisory services
The national practice has continued to grow over the last 10 years and now consists of approximately 45 members, of which 21 are based in our in Hull office and 24 in London.

About the role
We are currently seeking a director with excellent client relationship skills, an entrepreneurial mind set and strong internal network to work alongside Kenneth Moore, the Accounting Services partner and Corporate Compliance Services Business Unit Leader, to further grow and develop the Accounting Services practice.
Key activities to be undertaken include:
- Primary focus on business development activity in London/South East and supporting initiatives in the North of England (primarily Leeds.)
- Restricted role in pursuing and winning Global Accounting cross border opportunities
- Engagement leader on existing portfolio of clients – annual revenue £2 million plus
- Some national operational matters for the Accounting Services team - London and Hull, including financial management on clients, people related matters, recruitment, staff development.
- Responsible for quality and risk management for the National Accounting team.
Key activities to be undertaken include:
- Primary focus on business development activity in London/South East and supporting initiatives in the North of England (primarily Leeds.)

- Engagement leader on existing portfolio of clients – annual revenue £2 million plus

Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate the following abilities:

Professional qualification requirements:
Qualified ACA or ACCA with experience of working in a leadership position within Practice.

Additional Information:
London office based. For the foreseeable future the successful candidate will be required to spend 4 days a month in GCS Accounting Hull operation.
