Head of Section – Ground Investigations and Marine Geotechnics
For our office in Lyngby, Denmark we are currently looking for a senior geotechnical engineer to lead our Section for Ground Investigations and Marine Geotechnics.
For our office in Lyngby, Denmark we are currently looking for a senior geotechnical engineer to lead our Section for Ground Investigations and Marine Geotechnics.
The section currently employs 19 dedicated geotechnical engineers and geologists and is part of a unique professional and international environment with more than 120 employees working with ground engineering in COWI's offices worldwide.
You will be part of the management team in the Department for Marine and Foundation Engineering with approximately 90 staff that work with ground engineering, offshore wind, marine terminals, ports and coastal engineering all over the world. We are part of COWI's Major Business Line - Bridge, Tunnel and Marine.
Our team of geotechnical engineers and geologists work as an integrated part of the projects in all phases from feasibility studies, site investigations and conceptual design to detailed design and construction supervision.
Your knowledge
- Strong background in ground engineering and particularly marine geotechnics
- Experience with the geotechnical aspects of key markets areas of the department
- Experience from leading teams of highly knowledgeable employees
- Great communication skills in English (oral and written)
