The Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology (DG CNECT)promotes the digitalisation of Europe by achieving the digital single market and by reinforcing Europe’s digital competitiveness. Directorate B, 'Electronic Communications Networks & Services', aims to design and monitor a legally predictable environment for electronic communications in the EU to provide the essential basis for innovation and growth in Europe.

Your responsibilities:

• Formulating the strategy and policies of the Directorate;
• Assuring effective management and implementation of human and financial resources;
• Representing the European Commission and the Directorate within or outside the European Institutions.

Your skills:

• Sound knowledge of EU policies in the fields of electronic communications networks as well as information and communication markets and technologies;
• Proven experience in managing complex legal and policy issues related to electronic communications;
• Extensive leadership skills and management experience.
