Cardno JFNew is seeking a mid-level Water Resource Engineer. Office location preference is Chicago, Illinois, Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Cleveland, Ohio offices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
>Project management: maintaining client communication and relationships, managing project budgets, and managing project teams.
>Business development: ability to develop meaningful client relationships that can be leveraged to create business opportunities.
>Manage and mentor junior staff.

Basic Qualifications:
>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
>Minimum seven to ten years of experience that includes some combination of: stormwater, stream/river restoration, green infrastructure and alternative wastewater treatment design.
>Experience with either stream/river restoration or green infrastructure design, preferably both.
>Design experience including direct experience with a wide spectrum of design-related tasks, including modeling or quantitative analysis in support of design, permit application preparation, concept drawing and oversight of construction documents.
>Willing to be part of an engaged, dynamic team that is constantly broadening its professional horizons and technical capabilities.
>Passionate advocate for sustainable engineering practices.
>Requires minimum 10% travel.
>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
