For our Buildings Management department in Lyngby, we are looking for new colleagues to strengthening COWI's position as one of the most competent consulting firms in the field of cost consultancy.

​Job description

As quantity surveyor/cost manager, you will prepare construction estimates and financial analyses. You will also be in charge of preparing cost reports, contract management, project reviews and assessments of bids along with our client consultants. You will also work together with our value engineers to optimize the building design at different project stages.
Our clients want our assistance to ensure that their projects are carried out within the defined budgets, and it will be your job to proactively offer consultancy to our clients on this subject using our 360⁰ approach.

About you

You are a chartered quantity surveyor, engineer, design engineer, economist, building economist or perhaps you have a background in the building contractor sector.
More than ten years of professional experience is preferable, but not required. Experience with 3D BIM, digital transfer of quantities to cost assessments and knowledge of risk management would be appreciated.
It would be considered a plus if you are interested in internationalization and possess excellent English skills or perhaps are a native speaker.
We expect you to be able to contribute with knowledge of different calculation methods and to have great communication skills enabling you to communicate the results of our cost analyses to clients in Denmark and abroad.
