Job Summary

Cardno is seeking a Human Resources Operations Manager in our Denver, Colorado office to act as the firm's servicing and support lead. The Human Resources Operations Manager will play a key role in the delivery of high quality HR Services. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and will manage the HR Operations team.

This role will help Cardno optimize its move to a Business Services model by continually streamlining and adapting, reducing expenses and increasing process efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a passion for data, analytics and process improvement, and thrive in a fast paced business environment. Be detail oriented, independently motivated, and have the confidence and presence to interact and communicate with a range of stakeholders across the firm's complex service model.

Key Accountabilities:

> Recommending, introducing, and implementing business process improvements
> Establishing and maintaining trust-based, productive relationships all clients (employees) and peers within the HR Business Service group
> Implementing procedures, templates, and work flows, including change management efforts, such as training and user documentation
> Remaining active in HRIS and advocating for system enhancements important to the firm
> Developing and maintaining HRIS process and operating procedure documentation
> Managing HR Operations team
> Responsible for maintaining the integrity of HR data by providing a final review of workflows in HRIS (job/salary changes, hiring/onboarding, terminations, etc.)
> Responsible for fulfilling scheduled and ad hoc data/report requests to meet the diverse requirements of multiple departments, while ensuring the highest levels of data protection/security
> Acting as the first tier of support for HRIS users (employees, managers, power users)
> As a first point of contact, resolving customer (employee) needs and actively promoting self-service across a range of roles (managers, employees, HR Business Partners, and other power users across the firm)
> Assisting the Vice President of HR and HR Business Partners with complex, sensitive employee data requests and transactions
> Collaborating with peers in HRIS, HR Compensation and Benefits, and any others to leverage the firm's SharePoint portal to deliver content to a range of roles across the company

Other Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

> Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Systems or related field, or 8-10 years of relevant work experience in a multi-location environment
> Exceptional problem solving skills, demonstrating ability to consider implications of complex problems and solutions and taking necessary actions to resolution
> Demonstrated HR systems aptitude required and sound knowledge of HRIS
> Experience as a generalist and/or manager within a shared services organization
> A natural affinity to interact and communicate with a range of stakeholders
> Project Management Skills
> Proficiency with Excel
> Experience creating and running system reports and queries
> A strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills
