About the role

You will be part of a team that is dedicated to audit engagements for I&IM
As a Senior Associate, you will support a Manager/Senior Manager with audit execution, plus liaison with key stakeholders including the Engagement Partner.  You will be responsible for supervising junior members of the team, including providing coaching and reviewing their work.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Represent information and data candidly, accurately and completely.
  • Address questions on technical matters from team members and clients and deliver technical training as appropriate.
  • Understand and participate in project planning, administration and economics.
  • Maintain a focus on project economics and identify and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Prepare concise, well written documents using appropriate business and technical language.
  • Coach staff by providing constructive feedback in a timely manner in order for them to develop and meet their objectives and improve performance.
  • Conduct fact finding and analysis in a thorough, pragmatic, accurate and organised manner to enhance quality of engagement project delivery.

Requirements

Essential skills:
  • ACA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in auditing for large organisations
  • Demonstrated team player
    Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously without direct day to day management
Desirable skills:
  • Auditing of Financial Services clients
  • IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley experience
  • Flexibility to travel within UK and overseas
  • Ability and preparedness to work to tight deadlines when necessary
  • Desire for continuous self-improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to take responsibility & use initiative, especially when working to tight deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions
