Customer Service Support Representative – Unit Down Team
Sandvik Mining, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry, is currently looking for a Customer Service Support Representative – Unit Down Team. The location of this position is flexible.
The Role
In this key role, the Customer Service Support Representative will be responsible for the escalationsupport for sales areas, dealers and customers on with no stock, technical questions or solutions. This position will include parts manual support.
Key Performance Areas
  • Utilize links to find parts; global warehouses, local suppliers, parts alternatives
  • Support sales areas and customers with escalations and access to technical information
  • Provide inventory with review list of parts that were with no stock
  • Provide data from unit down database to sales areas and product lines/category managers about product and part failures by customer or area
  • Work closely to the Sales Area Customer Support Centers
  • Monitors and controls personnel expenses including travel and other costs according to Company policy
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business or similar College diploma required
  • Two or more years of customer negotiation/sales experience preferably in parts/aftermarket
  • Experience with/understanding of customer order desk operations
  • Extensive experience with customer service or Sandvik supply chain
  • Thorough knowledge of process and procedure of customer service, Sandvik logistics, and sourcing
  • Strong problem solving
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong negotiation skills to influence internal stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to operate independently and without close supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a broader team
  • Sound judgment
  • High integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communications; fluent in English
  • Skilled in all Microsoft tools such as Excel, Projects, PowerPoint, Word, Access
  • Experience using Oracle business database systems or similar
