Are you an experienced Project Manager within the field of auditing? Looking for some overseas experience?
The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an initiative by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program supports strengthening the systems of central agencies in their role as key enabling institutions to achieve their reform priorities.
THE EPSP on behalf of the Auditor-General’s Office are seeking expressions of interest for an Audit Management System Project Manager
About the role:
  • Long term position, 12 month contract, ARF C2
  • Position located within the Auditor- General’s Office, Port Moresby, PNG
  • Lead role in implementing the TeamMate Audit Management System into the AGO
  • Responsible for the development and monitoring of a project budget to ensure expenditure and revenue is in line with financial targets
  • Supported by a TeamMate Project Steering Committee whereby the an Audit Management System Project Manager will assist to maintain key relationships, provide strategic advice and contribute to the internal learning and development of staff

About You:
Our ideal candidate will:
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or similar
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience working on large-scale/strategic business change projects, preferably as a Project Manager or similar
  • A thorough current knowledge and experience of contemporary external audit methodologies, practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a challenging and dynamic organisation
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
