At the heart of revitalising Britain’s railway, our remit’s as vast as it is challenging – we’re involved in some of the most diverse, ambitious ventures Britain has ever seen, including Crossrail, Europe’s largest engineering project. Add your expertise to ours, and you’ll help us transform the way people travel.
It goes without saying that long-term planning is key to our success. You’ll enable us to consistently achieve excellence in this area, as part of a highly skilled and professional team. It’ll be up to you to develop our powers of economic analysis, as well as demand forecasting and route utilisation strategies. You’ll also manage our relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Transport – and will see to it that we’ve got the best possible analytical tools and processes in place, underpinning everything we do.
You’ll need:
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Impressive track record of developing analytical frameworks
- High level of numeracy
- Proven ability to influence and engage staff and stakeholders at every level
- In-depth knowledge of both the rail industry and its planning processes
