UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Field Security Advisor, P-3, Kabul.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Education: Advanced university degree or equivalent in Security Risk Management, Political Science, Military Science, Law Enforcement, Law or related area. Substantial qualifying experience and training may be considered in lieu of the advanced university degree.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in security risk management at least 3 years of which should be at the senior officer, senior management or UN professional level. Demonstrated international security management experience and understanding of the United Nations Security Management System is highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential. Good written and spoken skills in the language of the humanitarian operation and knowledge of another UN language are an asset.
