Purpose:
UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant for Review of EU funded Improving Water Sanitation and Hygiene in the Solomon Islands.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCE REQUIRED:
Qualifications• Advanced university degree in Public health, Hydrology, Social Sciences, or related technical field.
Skills and Experience
• Ten years of relevant work experience at the national and international levels in programme evaluation, management, and implementation in the field of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
• Experience in Pacific Island Countries and working with EU projects is considered an asset
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of the Solomon Islands Pijin / Bislama / Tok Pisin is an asset.
Competencies
• Communicates effectively to varied audiences, including during formal public speaking.
• Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Analyzes and integrates diverse and complex quantitative and qualitative data from a wide range of sources.
• Demonstrates, applies and shares expert technical knowledge on WASH and Project Monitoring and Evaluation.
