Our Belgium organization employs around 600 people, spread over our Retail, Out of Home and Manufacturing units. We are located in Grimbergen, only 10 kilometers from the center of Brussels. Marketing Intern
 
Your main responsibilities
  • You will actively be integrated in the marketing team, where you are asked to be a supportive member and take responsibilities on projects.
  • You will be included in meetings where you are going to take initiatives in decision making and brainstorming.
  • You will support in our Customer Program by optimizing customer communication, activation and interaction tools. 
  • You will support in portfolio management.
  • You will be making a profound competitor analysis which includes the next questions; who are the most present competitors in each of our customer segments? How is the entire Belgian market evolving and how are the active brands acting on it? What is the positioning of the competitors vs. Douwe Egberts in terms of price, USP and branding?
  • You will support in implementing POS materials for the different OOH segments.
 
Your profile
  • You are looking for an internship that is in relation with the finalization of your studies.
  • You have a decent background in marketing with a clear and analytical customer oriented focus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French would be a positive addition.
  • You are a team player and dedicated in making a change.
  • You have a passion for coffee and tea.
  • You have acquired a solid background in business studies (Business Administration, Economics).
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to work independently.
  • You are able to think ‘out of the box’ and to have a critical view on current processes.
  • You are familiar with the entire MS Office package.
  • You are available for a minimum of 5 months, starting September 2014.
