Research Fellows - Politics and Governance Programme
The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) is the UK’s leading think tank on international development and humanitarian issues. We aim to inspire and inform policy and practice to reduce poverty by locking together high-quality applied research and practical policy advice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join ODI’s Politics and Governance Programme: we have a growing portfolio of work on sectoral and institutional reform. To expand this work further, we are recruiting up to two research fellows, to work across the ODI portfolio on public goods and services, public sector management and administration, energy, natural resources and economic reform.
We are looking for dynamic individuals with significant experience of research and policy engagement in these sectors and in international development, with world-class knowledge and research skills to help drive innovative programmes on governance, sectoral reform and development.
You will have a postgraduate degree and substantial experience of policy oriented research in economics, education, public health or public sector management, with proven capabilities in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
These roles will include policy research and advice, fundraising, project management and public affairs.
We welcome applications at all levels. Salaries will be negotiable for exceptional candidates.
