WINE CAPABILITY AND PR ASSOCIATE MANAGER

Context and Scope:  
Own best-in-class trade education experiences in Napa Valley and Rutherford House that drive and deep affinity and life-time adorers of our brands and result in positive commercial results.
 
Key Outputs and Deliverables:
  • Coordinate and triage all incoming requests for trade visits to Napa Valley. Vet accounts and distributor groups to insure experiences and resources are maximized and expectation are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate the flow of trade customers, events, and meetings to deliver best experience possible. Insure that appropriate resources and space is allocated and coordinated with RH and Visitor Center staff.
  • Customize and tailor training and experiences to appropriate outcomes that utilizes time and efficiency of scale.
  • Support planning and execution for all internal events; Crush Camp, DTC Events, Corporate Meetings, Brand Events, and Winemaking and PR Tastings and Training.
  • Coordinate and conduct tastings, trainings, and distributor emersion programs that drive capabilities and performance.
  • Track all customer experiences and history as part of Commercial Traction Scorecard. Drive insights and course correction when appropriate.
  • Coordinate wine submission schedule by publication in step with internal release schedule. Insure that all publication deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate all samples and lot number wines are correctly staged for internal tasting panels with appropriate lead-time for submission requests.
  • Organize, Track and coordinate all tasting panel output and results. With collaboration of Trade PR Director and WM Director develop panel tasting analysis and insights that drive better quality and reporting to Brand and WM teams.
  • Maintain current, external, and historical data and scorecards that capture potential selling points and commercial insights that can drive lift in the commercial market and DTC.
  • Maintain the very high standards of the Rutherford House property and facility to serve the mission of Training and Hosting our Trade Customer and Distributor partners.
  • Coordinate and manage the onsite vendors, events, and projects to insure high-standards, safety and security of the property.
  • Insure the 100% Compliance of guests and activities at the Rutherford House at all times.
  • Manage wine inventory, office operations, and maintenance, to align with budget.
  • Surface and manage appropriate CapEx projects to insure safety, and protection of the RH, and Office assets. Insure security is in place at all times and that emergency plans are communicated to appropriate leads.
 
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Problem solver, ability to find creative solutions, resourcefulness and entrepreneurial
  • Team player who is a consensus builder but is willing to make decisions that have positive outcomes
  • Demonstrate leadership, and champion PR accolades and initiatives, and research outcomes
  • Maintain professional relations with trade guests and assert our education and hospitality strategy with skill
  • Need to be able to physically lift cases of wine, set up and breakdown equipment for events
  • Wine Industry Experience is preferred
