The role
You’ll be part of our super-premium business unit. You are responsible for delivering the trade strategy whilst negotiating long term contracts. You build and implement a compelling wholesalers/wine specialist channel strategy and customer plans, to ensure market growth and to get the Top 3 CPG ranking from our customers. You move fast, keep things simple and trust your instincts. Customer profitability and performances are monitored and corrective actions are taken when needed. Annual channel and account plans are executed brilliantly, using the right sales drivers. Conflicts are managed professionally. You build strong relations based on trust and mutual benefits. Your agreements are in line with financial targets with clear measurable counterparts. In addition you work well with your colleagues and ensure that your annual plans are line with the broader commercial agenda.

Your profile
You have a deep and instinctive understanding of what works for the customer to make Diageo Reserve BeLux an indispensable partner to our customers. You instinctively know when and where to intervene nurturing great ideas and stopping bad ones. Other requirements are:
• Strong experience in Account Management and experience in working with financial data
• Entrepreneurial spirit and winner’s mentality
• Fluent in Dutch and French
• Analytical/numerical: analysing performances, data, trends and come with a diagnose
• Great commercial understanding of local trade environment and channel specifics
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
