China Business Performance Management Analyst

Support Commercial FD to provide Greater China senior management with the necessary financial information and analysis, at the appropriate level of details and accuracy, such that performance can be correctly determined, reported and outcomes delivered.
This role will be required to deliver monthly standardized performance reporting and analysis, as well as coordinate Greater China’s yearly plan, monthly forecast and performance update process.

Job Requirements

(1) Business Performance Management
 
  • Maintain robust database of all the information used in the BPM process;
  • Maintain structured files to ensure absolute accuracy and flexibility to present information in different format;
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset on process. Can challenge the Status, provide solution and take action to change it;
  • Challenge, where required submitted key performance indicators by BUs;
  • Be responsible for data accuracy in BPM system and tool.

(2) Financial Planning and reporting
 
  • Coordinate the yearly planning process by working closely with all BUs and AP FP&R to ensure GC plans are robust;
  • Continuously improve the reporting process, driving efficiency.

3) Other
 
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis on time in full;
  • Be an expert of Magnitude and Microstrategy (consolidation reporting tools for Diageo);
Standardize reporting processes and procedures with region where required.

Job Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with 3+ years working experience
  • Details oriented and good at dealing with data
  • Deadline commitment and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Financial analysis and insight
  • Master of Excel & Power Point; SAP or planning tool experience is a plus
  • Communication skills and working with cross-functional teams
Fluent in Mandarin & English (written and verbal)
